Inspect a mahjong order against an agreed specification and retained sample. A useful report identifies the batch, inspection method, observations and unresolved defects; a general statement that goods passed inspection is not enough.
Prepare the inspection record
List the tile faces and counts, drawing revision, colour reference, packaging layout and measurement points. Define which defects affect play, appearance or safety, and agree how each class will be handled before production. Photographs should include a scale and the relevant sample or batch reference.
Check the set as a system
Compare tile dimensions, edge finish and face readability, then arrange complete sets to detect missing or duplicated pieces. Test the actual racks, pushers, mat and storage together. Record colour variation under consistent lighting rather than comparing photographs taken on different phones.
Sampling and follow-up
Specify whether inspection covers every set or an agreed sample, who selects the sample and what happens after a failed check. Sampling is not a guarantee that every item is defect-free. Keep the report, corrective action and reinspection result with the purchase record.
Prepare the next decision
Next, review sample approval checklist alongside your current brief. Review the custom American mahjong set project page or send a project question with the relevant drawings, photographs and open decisions.
