Use a customization brief to ask about the options that matter to your collection. Availability depends on the selected construction and process. Distinguish a requested feature from an option the supplier has already confirmed.
Tile and artwork choices
Describe the playing format, face list, dimensions, colour direction and reverse-side graphics. Provide files and physical references where available. Ask which artwork details require revision for the proposed process and which changes need a new sample.
Accessories and packaging
List racks, pushers, mats, storage and printed inserts separately. Include quantities, colour relationships and fit requirements. A coordinated appearance does not guarantee dimensional compatibility, so test the complete set and packed layout before approving the order.
Confirm what the quotation includes
Request a written response marking each option as available, subject to sample review or outside the proposed scope. Record setup charges, minimum quantities and timing for the selected combination. Avoid assuming that a photograph proves every visible feature is offered in every configuration.
Prepare the next decision
Next, review design file checklist alongside your current brief. Review the custom American mahjong set project page or send a project question with the relevant drawings, photographs and open decisions.
File preparation reference: Adobe Illustrator package files explains collecting linked assets for handoff. Confirm the receiving supplier’s formats and artwork requirements separately.
